There are lots of ways to get involved in our community.

Want to support the efforts of Councilmember Bakhtiari and their team?

One way to get plugged into our Office’s work is to attend our monthly Coffee with Your Councilmember events. These casual community events present an opportunity to connect and maintain consistent and direct accessibility to Councilmember Bakhtiari. During this time, Councilmember Bakhtiari is available to chat about issues, policy ideas, what’s happening in your life, or what silly thing your dog did yesterday. Keep an eye on our social media channels and newsletters for the details on future Coffee with Your Councilmember events.

Councilmember Bakhtiari is also deeply committed to improving the quality of life for our community. There are a few ways you can help us in these efforts. One is to attend a community cleanup! Many of our neighborhood associations host regular trash pickups and landscaping days, and Councilmember Bakhtiari will be planning and hosting a number of supplemental workdays as well. These will advertised across our social media channels and newsletters as well.

Another way to help us improve our community is to report issues via our District 5 Issues form. Whether it’s litter, missed waste pickup, potholes, broken sidewalks, blighted property, or any other issue affecting our community’s quality of life, we’re here to help resolve it as quickly as possible.

Finally, any and all ideas are welcome! Councilmember Bakhtiari would love to hear from you if you have ideas for events, projects, activations, clean up sites, or anything that benefits District 5 and its residents. Just give us a shout with your ideas via our Contact page.
